I’m a post-doctoral researcher in the field of cognitive neuroscience, currently based at Ghent University, Belgium, in Tom Verguts' lab. I received my PhD in 2017 from the University of Leipzig, Germany.
I’m interested in neurocognitive mechanisms of attention and cognitive control. My current project explores how Bayesian inference guides attentional processing.
During my PhD, I investigated how attention and perceptual expectations interact to shape visual perception. I have also conducted research on cognitive functioning of bilinguals.
