I’m an FWO (Research Foundation – Flanders) post-doctoral fellow in the field of cognitive neuroscience. Currently, I'm based at Ghent University, in Tom Vergut’s lab. I received my PhD in 2017 from Leipzig University.
I’m interested in neurocognitive and neuromodulatory mechanisms of attention and decision-making under uncertainty. My current project explores how Bayesian inference about uncertainty guides attention. During my PhD, I investigated how attention and perceptual expectations interact to shape visual perception. I have also conducted research on cognitive functioning of bilinguals. |
